How far do you travel for glass railing projects in the Cle Elum area?
Our shop is in Kent, about 90 minutes from Cle Elum over Snoqualmie Pass in normal driving conditions. We travel to Cle Elum, Roslyn, South Cle Elum, and the Suncadia resort area for both measurement and installation. For mountain projects we typically factor travel into the quote. We are direct about that cost up front so there are no surprises.
Do glass railings hold up to the freeze-thaw cycles in Cle Elum?
Yes. What matters in a freeze-thaw climate is the hardware and how the penetrations are sealed. Water that gets into a fastener pocket and freezes expands and works the connection loose over time. We use stainless hardware and seal every penetration properly so meltwater cannot get in and freeze in the first place.
