On a sloped driveway a slide gate is often the better choice, because it rolls along the fence line and does not have to arc open against the grade the way a swing gate does. If the gate sits on a flatter stretch with room to open, a swing gate can still work. We look at the incline and the layout and recommend the one that will run reliably.
